The Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional is Mexico's basketball league. Fourteen teams contest the title in a format that runs through 2026. Fuerza Regia de Monterrey holds the championship won during the 2025 season, having claimed six titles overall. You can find LNBP odds at 1xBet to back the match winner or place an outright wager on the playoffs.

What is the LNBP basketball league

The LNBP is a basketball league in Mexico. A season in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional ends with playoffs rather than a points table alone. Because the champion is crowned in a postseason bracket, every regular game feeds directly into the final standings.

The format shapes how you approach LNBP betting. You track which teams survive the grind to earn a playoff spot, since the title race is decided by who advances farthest. The competition offers a clear path from the opening round to the championship series.

Form matters most when a team's season hinges on a single overtime winner. A game can be level after four quarters, but the rules force a result through extra periods. That mechanic removes the draw as a final outcome and keeps every wager settled by a clear victor.

Format and teams in the LNBP

You can bet on LNBP to follow every game from the opening tip through the final buzzer. In a round-robin format, the regular season sees each side meet the rest. Only the 8 best-placed teams qualify for the postseason, leaving the lower half of the table out of contention. The playoffs are a straight elimination bracket. The 1st-placed team plays the 8th-place team in the opening series.

Home court matters when it gets to the end. Two remaining teams play the Serie Final, with the best-placed side holding home field advantage. The format means a single bad week can cost you a title run, while consistency rewards the top seeders.

High-profile names like Jamario Moon and Dennis Rodman have worn these jerseys in the past. That history adds weight to every matchup on the schedule. Core details for this year's competition appear in the table below.

Table 1 — LNBP key facts

Past champions and title holders

Fuerza Regia de Monterrey holds the title. The league itself began on March 11, 2000 in Durango with 11 teams after some CIMEBA clubs exited due to financial trouble. A total of 26 seasons are on record for the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional. Most recent champions and their runners-up appear in the table below, ordered from newest to oldest.

LNBP betting markets on 1xBet

The match winner is the core wager. You are betting on which team wins the game once the clock hits zero.

• Point spread markets handle the gap between sides when one is clearly stronger

• Totals ask if the combined score goes over or under a set line

• Quarter and half markets let you focus on specific segments of play rather than the full contest

Player props break down individual performance: you can stake on points, rebounds, or assists for specific names before tip-off. Decided by the playoffs, the outright market covers the championship winner.

Accumulators combine these selections into a single slip for higher potential returns. Odds shift as new information emerges, so timing matters when you lock in your stake. Live betting is available once the game starts.

Match markets

The match winner market covers the full game. Because overtime is played until a side wins, the final result never settles as a draw on 1xBet slips. You can also stake on point spread and total points for the contest. Other options include quarter and half markets and player points, rebounds and assists.

Outright and specials

After the playoffs conclude, the outright market settles on the LNBP champion. You stake on the team that will lift the trophy once the postseason series finish, since the regular season table does not decide the title. Specials add player props like total points or rebounds to your slip.

How to start LNBP betting on 1xBet

You need an account before you can place a wager. Registration at 1xBet takes only a few minutes and asks for basic contact details to open your sports balance. Once that is done, the full range of basketball markets becomes available on desktop or mobile browsers. The platform has operated as a licensed sportsbook since 2007. You can bet on LNBP through pre-match lines or wait for live prices that move as the action unfolds in each quarter.

1. Register an account at 1x-bet.mobi or log in to your existing profile.

2. Fund your balance with a deposit so you have money to stake.

3. Open the basketball section and navigate to the LNBP fixtures list.

4. Select a market such as the match winner, point spread, or total points.

5. Enter your stake amount and confirm the bet to lock in the price.

Prices shift constantly during live play, so you might use cash-out to settle a position early if the game turns against you. An accumulator combines several selections into one larger price, but every single leg must win for the bet to pay out. System bets offer coverage even if some picks lose, while special outcome markets carry higher odds for precise calls on player stats or quarter results.

1xBet offers for LNBP bets

The welcome bonus starts the process, and a sports welcome offer is available on your first deposit to 1xBet when you fund an account for LNBP betting. Terms and wagering requirements apply to this promotion just as they do to others on the site. Accumulators get a boost too: the acca boost grows with the number of legs added to your slip, so stacking more selections increases the return potential.

Free bets appear in selected promotions, and these stakes let you place a selection on a game without risking your own account balance if the wager loses. Promotions change over time and each carries its own conditions, so checking the current rules is essential before you stake.

The 1xBet app, banking and customer support

The 1xBet app puts the LNBP in your pocket. You install the Android version directly from the official site rather than a third-party store, and the iOS download works the same way on Apple devices. The file size sits at 46 for that mobile build.

Funding your account is straightforward across the board. Bank cards handle deposits alongside cryptocurrencies, which you can use for both moving money in and taking winnings out. Account verification may be required before a first withdrawal clears. If you prefer to skip the app entirely, the mobile site mirrors the full sportsbook.

Email handles account and payment queries while an FAQ section covers common betting questions about the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional. You can track LNBP live action or manage your stake through these channels without delay.
